  • Linen Closet Organization Bags

So I recently moved a few months back and we now have a small linen closet. Not that it’s small, it’s that we went from having none to actually having one! Score! Once we put our blankets, towels, sheets and bath mats into this closet, I very quickly learned that we have a ton of linens! This was even after we downsized the amount from the move! So I organized it the best I could, or at least what I thought was the best. I stacked all the sheet sets together and the blankets all together and sorted everything into its own groups. But, then I started to realize that every time I needed something, it wasn’t very easy to get just the item I needed without pulling the whole stack out or it all just falling down on me anyways! Argh, not fun! I began thinking, what can I do to organize this darn linen closet? Do I move these into each bathroom and bedroom or another closet, or do I sacrifice and keep having the same issue each time I need something? Well, I kept on with the cycle of it all falling down on me each time I needed something from the stack. Until I found it! I found the best item to help keep this mess contained! Linen Bags!

Say what?! Yes! A linen bag, kinda like a tote for storage, but meant for use of items such like these blankets and sheets, etc. I happened to be adding stuff to my wishlist and stumbled upon these while doing so! I thought to myself, these could help contain the mess and it all falling over or down every time I needed to get something out of this closet. You can find these linen storage bags here! #Affiliate Link.

What can you store in these ?

These can be used to store many items. I mainly have our linen closet beddings in the storage bags, however I have plans! These could be used in these ways also to store items such as:

    • Bedding ( sheets, blankets, comforters, bed skirts, duvets, pillows, etc.)
    • Bath Towels and Beach towels
    • kids clothing (seasonal, out grown items, too large items, play clothes, dress up clothes, costumes, dance, sports gear, etc.)
    • Sports clothing ( swimwear, hunting, fishing, golfing, tennis, yoga, snow gear, etc.)
    • Seasonal weather clothes (Bulky Winter clothes, summer clothes)
    • Hats, purses, scarfs and accessories
    • Sports fan gear
    • Much more! (games, faux flowers, arts and crafting supplies, etc.)

    Size of Storage bag

I purchased the 90 L which seems plenty large and I could fit a lot in it. I am not sure if they come in other sizes, but I am sure if you search around you could find something. They come in different quantities from a 4 pack to a 6 or 8 pack as well. I got the 6 pack. They also come in different colors, however I am a “Plain Jane”and went with my go to favorite color around the house – Gray! Check them out here! # Affiliate Link

    Before and After my Closet

    Before…

    Ahhmazing!

    Conclusion

I am so glad I ordered these and I hope you are too! I have so many more projects for storage I will be using these for! I used them for our linen closet but I might put these in each rooms closet and put the spare bedding for that room in it. You can even put a tag on it to label the contents or size of items . If you are in need to help contain Linen items, these are it don’t look any further! As always, keep it simple with me!

  • My Favorite Products for managing my Rosacea

Rosacea and Redness Who doesn’t hate it???

As a rosacea sufferer myself, I have tried many and I mean many different creams and solutions or remedies to use to manage and help control my rosacea. I have suffered rosacea my entire life, I can recall being a child having the rosy cheeks. Now, as an adult I still suffer from rosacea and as an adult I actually suffer more so with the pain and burning sensations than when I was younger. I actually though have realized some of my triggers (heat/cold/spicy foods/caffeine/ products/ etc.) I have to be careful with certain fragrances or products as they may cause a reaction and flare up. The picture above is just a typical day of redness, not during a painful flare up. I live by the “keep it simple” rule to not over do it because I don’t want to cause a reaction or flare up.

Here are a few different creams more recently that I have stumbled upon to calm and soothe my rosacea pain, or conceal redness; not listed in any specific order….(btw,I have also used many different prescriptions from the dermatologists, but you can purchase all these at a retailer). Fyi, I am not a licensed healthcare provider or doctor and I do not diagnose anyone. I have been diagnosed with Rosacea myself and I wanted to share what helps me calm my rosacea. LaRoche-Posay Toleraine Rosaliac AR

This cream is green tinted. It is to help reduce visible redness that may be present. This has the LaRoche-Posay thermal spring water in it. I use this in the morning before I apply my makeup so I don’t need to apply as much makeup. This is fairly creamy and is dispensed with a pump that is fairly hygienic. I tend to reach for this cream often! I even apply it on days I don’t wear makeup to help with my redness. I have purchased this one multiple times and I plan to again when I next run out. As one of my favorites,#Affiliate Link you can get it here! I just ran out and had to get another one!

    Avene Redness Expert

This is a soothing moisturizing cream and seems to be fairly concentrated so a little goes a long way. This is meant for sensitive skin prone to redness and can be applied twice daily. In my opinion, this feels very hydrating and soothing, but I have not seen any implying the redness of my skin. This is a white cream, not green unlike the Loroche Posay Toleriane Rosaliac AR cream. This one is also dispensed with a pump. # Affiliate Link Find this one here!

    Clinique Redness Solutions

clinic redness solutions has cleansers, sunscreens, probiotic creams, and makeup to help reduce redness from rosacea. The creams and sunscreens are tinted with green to counteract the redness from rosacea. These are very gentle with probiotic technology. Clinique redness solutions is a tad bit pricier than the LaRoche Posey cream, and it comes in a pot rather than a dispensing tube. This is super creamy and I really like the texture, however it’s not as moisturizing as the Avene redness expert cream. #Affiliate Link You can find this on here!

    Hero Rescue Bomb

The Hero Rescue Bomb Color correcting green cream comes in a tube. It is very pigmented with green. A little goes a long way with this as it is super pigmented… I feel as though this is more to just even the skin tone and cover the redness rather than a moisturizer to help soothe and calm the rosacea or redness. I tend to find myself only reaching for this if I have a blemish to cover. #Affiliate Link You can find this one here!

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream

This is a cream in a tube and it’s white not pigmented with green color. Safe for sensitive skin and is OK for those who suffer from eczema and other skin conditions. I got this as a sample and I thought I’d give it a try for my rosacea. I tend to use this at night on those areas of redness, and when I wake up in the morning, I do notice that the redness is not as noticeable. This has Colloidal oatmeal in it, which helps to soothe and calm my rosacea. I also use this on my hands before I go to bed, which makes them super soft. I will likely purchase a tube of this! # Affiliate Link Check this one out here!

CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 face

This is a mineral sunscreen, which is suitable for sensitive skin. It has three essential ceramides and niacinamide in it. This is accepted by the national eczema Association and meant to be suitable for sensitive skin. Mine is non-tinted. It’s a white cream however, I do wanna try the tinted cream to see if I like that. I just haven’t gotten a chance to purchase that yet. I have noticed, though that when I apply this a little goes a long ways and it does leave the white cast which almost makes it look purple through the redness of my face. So when I apply this, I have to wear make up to cover the funny looking cast that it leaves behind. # Affiliate Link Find it here!

    Eucerin Redness Relief Night Cream

This cream, comes in a pot, not a dispenser. I tend to apply this at night after I shower. There is no color in it as it’s a white cream. This is fairly moisturizing, but not like the other creams. I haven’t noticed that it calms the redness any bit. I don’t reach for this one as often as some of the others. I’m not sure that I will be purchasing this one again.

La Roche Posay SPF 50 Anthelios

This comes in a cute little bottle with a shaker in it. The consistency is fluid like and goes on nicely. This is a tinted mineral sunscreen, it does not offer much coverage, but a slight veil of coverage. It is light weight and is waterproof for 40 minutes and needs to be reapplied after swimming or water, as does any sunscreen! This is ideal for sensitive skin, and is hypoallergenic. It’s got a matte texture when you apply it. Not oily or greasy like other sunscreens might feel. I am really liking this one and you can find it here. I will definitely buy this one again! #Affiliate Link Check it out here!

Elta MD UV Clear Tinted SPF 46

This comes in a dispenser pump and has a tint of color. This is safe to use on sensitive skin, such as those who suffer from rosacea. I feel as though this has a little bit more coverage to it compared to the LaRoche Posay Anthelios liquid and it’s also a little bit more creamier than that as well. This one has a little bit of a sheen to it and it’s not very matte. This feels nice on the skin, however as the day goes on it tends to to separate and look kinda greasy or oily. #Affiliate Link You can find this one here!

A quick pic of my rosacea, this is not a painful flare up… Make-up free regular day. This was after a long day at work and a not so restful sleep. Both sides of my face are as equally red, mainly my cheeks.

    Conclusion

I hope you enjoyed my list of products that I find helpful to control my redness and rosacea. Hopefully you are also able to find a solution that works for you within this post; may it be a remedy or cream to help calm your rosacea as well as prevent it! P.S.- I didn’t include cleansers, but I am a fan of CeraVe, Cetaphil and LaRoche Posay as they are all gentle on the skin.
